Upper Bucks Trained Emergency Situation Team This multi-jurisdictional group of police officers prepares to meet whatever challenge an increasing population may present. The officers assigned to the team train monthly and have the ability to respond quickly to high risk incidents or disasters throughout the Pennridge area. This program was developed in response to community needs and focuses on areas identified by citizen complaints, observed criminal activity and safety concerns. A monthly list of target locations is distributed to all officers. The target locations are then frequented during regular patrols in motor vehicles, bicycle or on foot. The directed patrol activities have proven to be an effective tool in prevention of criminal activity and in enhancing traffic safety throughout the Borough. Law
