Changes to Perkasie Borough's Rules for the Park System

Changes have been made to the rules and regulations for the Borough's parks due to an increase in vandalism in the parks and misuse of the park grounds and facilities. The changes are as follows:

No person shall remain or congregate at the Frank R. Kulp Memorial Playground grandstand area unless as a spectator for an authorized sports event and that event is in progress.

Areas in Kulp Playground may be used during daylight hours, plus illuminated courts or fields during evening hours until 10:00 pm.  However, the use is only for the activities for which the areas are designated.  No area of Frank R. Kulp Playground may be used after 10:00 pm unless permission has been received from Perkasie Borough Council.

Lights will be turned off at 8:00 pm during the months that the Pennridge School District is in session. There shall be no activity at Frank R. Kulp playground after that time.

The park restrooms will be closed and locked from Thanksgiving through March each year due to the restrooms being targets for increased vandalism.

Rules have been added to the "Skate Park Rules & Regulations" for the Action Sports Park. The additions are:

The hours of the skate park are based on the Pennridge School District schedule. There has been some confusion with those utilizing the park that attend school outside the Pennridge area.
