History of the PBPD

The Perkasie Borough Police Department serves the boroughs of Perkasie and Sellersville with a combined population of almost 14,000 residents.  The Department, covering approximately 3.6 square miles, consists of the Chief of Police, four Sergeants, one Detective Sergeant, twelve Patrol Officers and two administrative employees.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Perkasie Borough Police Department is to enhance the quality of life of the citizens it serves.  The department seeks to accomplish this by developing a partnership with and responding to the needs of the community.  We will enforce the law and preserve the peace to provide a safe community environment, while operating within the framework of the United States Constitution.

    As Police Officers we will display Pride, Integrity and Courage:

                Pride in the performance of our duty and in our service to the public

                Integrity in our dealings with the people we protect and serve

                Courage to act in an unbiased, unprejudiced, fair and equal manner to all...even in the face of adversity.
